Health v Power

It beats my imagination seeing most African leaders hold on to power even when their health condition is failing them. Some end up sleeping during conferences, world sumits, etc.

The current pathetic situation in Nigeria is a big cause for concern for those who love this country. My advice for Mr President is for him to hand over full mantle to his vice and take proper care of his health. I strongly have confidence in Prof Osinbanjo to do a good job in addressing the current crisis but to be honest, Nigeria is not worth dying for.

We can't continue asking God for help when we can't help ourselves in our own human capacity. Anyway, what do I know self as an ordinary man.

Insecurity
Dwindling economy
Failing Education

A brief look at these power embedded quotes.

"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power". -Abraham Lincoln"

"The stupidity of men always invites the insolence of power"..Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Power is so characteristically calm, that calmness in itself has the aspect of strength"...Edward Bulwer-Lytton

"The least one can say of power is that a vocation for it is suspicious"....Jean Rostand

Let those concerned change before they will be victimized by the one incharge of their lives

May God Bless Us All
